Thanks for a rocking 2008
It’s been an amazing year for Liesl Graham what with the launch of her brand new album, three Number 1 singles, loads of media coverage and, of course, lots of rocking, awesome gigs around the country. Here are
some of the highlights of 2008.
Liesl on the Small Screen
Not only was Liesl all over the
radio this year, she also made her
presence known with regular
interviews on ETV and MNet. The
music videos for her first two charttopping
singles can be seen
frequently on MK, and the video
for ‘Go Home’ will be debuting on ‘MK’s Kraakvars’ this Christmas Eve at 7pm.
Three Number 1 Singles
‘Faithless Heart’, the first
single off Chrysalis, was
Liesl’s first Number 1 on
Highveld’s Homebrew in 2008,
followed quickly by ‘Hold
Me’ and, more recently, ‘Go
Home’. The three songs
charted on another six stations
nationwide and a record total
of 19 stations playlisted the
second single, ‘Hold Me’.

“The overwhelming thrust
of Chrysalis is good, hardedged

voice that is by no means
stretched, or incapable of
handling the raw energy
of the music.” AR

melodies , thoughtful
lyrics, good musicianship
and fiery vocals define
